Unique Table Wedding Decorations

When you’re planning your wedding, one of the biggest concerns is what sort of them you’re going to have, and what kind of decorations to go with that theme.  Of course, table wedding decorations will be a big part of that decision. 

Think about it - where do wedding guests spend most of their time at a wedding?  The ceremony is usually over within an hour or so, but then comes the reception.  And that will last for several hours, if it’s anything like the typical wedding reception.  And people will spend most of that time at their table.  Wedding decorations that are right there on the table will have a bigger impact on them, and contribute a lot more to the mood and setting of the wedding than other kinds.  Here are some unique ideas for memorable wedding table decorations.

What should be on the table?  Wedding decorations come in all kinds of styles and themes, so there will be a lot to choose from.  Many brides choose to have the wedding favors on the table, one for each place setting, as opposed to passing them out separately.  And one way of doing this is putting them in a custom designed bag or box created just for your special occasion.  If you want, it’s even possible to put the name of each guest on their particular favor box or bag.

Another great idea for table wedding decorations that has gotten more popular in recent years is to provide each guest with a one time use (disposable) camera so they can capture the memories for themselves in case they didn’t bring one from home.  Obviously, this is a bit more expensive that most decorations, but it’s one your guests will remember for a long time.

Another outside the box idea for table wedding decorations has to do with food.  You can easily have custom cookies, cupcakes, fortune cookies, or even individual cakes made up for each guest, decorated especially for the happy occasion.  Now, they won’t provide as many memories as the camera, but they’ll be remembered fondly by all those that partake of them!
